A skilled acrobat in the state of Song made his living by performing. He once went to the palace specifically to showcase his specialty for King Yuan. The King was amazed by the performance and rewarded him generously.
Another performer, hearing of this, also offered to perform for the King. Upon learning this, the King became furious and said, "Last time, I was in a good mood and bestowed many gifts. You must have come seeking rewards. I loathe people like you."
After saying this, the King ordered the performer's arrest. A whole month passed before this unfortunate man was finally released.

宋国有一位技艺高超的杂技艺人，以表演为生。他曾特地前往王宫，为宋元君表演自己的专长。宋元君看后十分惊讶，赏赐了他许多财物。
