Daughter-in-law and Daughter |

English Original

Two women were chatting in a room.

One asked, "How is everything going with your son?"

"Oh, don't even mention it. What a huge misfortune!" the woman sighed. "He is poor enough, and married an extraordinarily lazy daughter-in-law. She doesn't cook, clean the room, or look after the children. She sleeps all the time. It's my son who brings breakfast to her bed."

"How about your daughter?"

"She is very lucky," the woman smiled. "She married a good husband who doesn't allow her to do any housework. He handles everything alone, including cooking, washing, cleaning, and looking after the children. What's more, he brings breakfast to my daughter every day."

Consider the same situation. When we look at it from a different perspective, our mentality changes. If we stand in others' shoes and consider things from their point of view, we can develop greater tolerance and more love.
