English Original
A blind man sat on building steps, a sign at his feet reading: "I am blind, please help."
A creative publicist walked by, noticed only a few coins in the man's hat. He added some coins of his own, then—without asking permission—took the sign, flipped it over, and wrote a new message. He placed it back and left.
That afternoon, the publicist returned. The blind man's hat was now nearly full of money. Recognizing the footsteps, the blind man asked if he was the one who had changed the sign, and what he had written.
The blind man did not know his new sign read: "It's spring now, but I can't see it."
