It was a very foggy day in London. The fog was so thick that visibility was reduced to barely a foot.
Buses, cars, and taxis were forced to a halt, standing idle by the roadside.
People attempting to navigate on foot were hopelessly lost in the dense fog.
Mr. Smith had a crucial meeting at the House of Commons but found himself stranded, with no means of transport available.
He tried walking but soon became completely disoriented. Suddenly, he bumped into a stranger, who offered his help.
Mr. Smith explained his destination was the Houses of Parliament. The stranger agreed to guide him there.
Thanking the man, they set off. The fog grew thicker by the minute, yet the stranger navigated effortlessly.
He led them through streets, around corners, across a square, and after about half an hour, they arrived at the Houses of Parliament.
Astonished, Mr. Smith exclaimed, "It's wonderful! How do you find your way in this fog?"
"It's no trouble at all," replied the stranger. "I am blind."
