A forester, weary of his solitary life in the mountains and longing for intimacy, descends to the valley. He vows to pursue the first female he encounters. Soon, he comes across a mare. Overcome by his urges, he decides to chase the horse but fails to catch it.
During the pursuit, he hears cries for help. Rushing to the scene, he finds a man assaulting a woman and intervenes to save her.
Grateful, the woman says, "For saving me from that maniac, name your reward. Anything. I mean, anything."
"Really? Anything?" he asks. When she confirms, he excitedly exclaims, "Then help me catch that horse!"
