It was a rainy Monday. As I was about to cross the street, I heard a deafening screech—BLAAGGGGGGGG! Someone pushed me from behind, saving me from an oncoming car. The stranger who saved me was hit instead. I was in shock, my heart trembling. Disoriented after the accident, I wandered aimlessly until I found myself standing beside the man who looked like an angel. I never imagined the man who saved my life was the same person from my dreams.
Three days later, he was gone without a word. I hadn't even thanked him or learned his name. I searched for him desperately, even in my dreams, but he had vanished. I was filled with sadness and guilt, longing to express the single word from my heart: "Thank you!"
Every morning, I returned to the scene of the accident. Another Monday arrived with terrible weather. As I stepped forward, rain began to pour.
