English Original
Two men set out to go fishing. They traveled a long way to buy equipment, bait, and a video camera. Then they drove to the seaside. The roads were terrible, badly damaging their car with dents all over. Most of their gear was also ruined.
Upon reaching the shore, they caught only a single fish. One man remarked, "What a terrible day for business. Do you have any idea how much we spent just to catch this one fish?"
His companion replied, "Of course I do. We spent two thousand dollars on this one. That's a bit much!"
The first man then said, "It's a good thing we didn't catch more, or the cost would have been even higher. Two thousand dollars for one fish!"
