A young couple died in an accident on their way to get married. Standing before St. Peter, the woman asked if they could still be married. St. Peter said he would need to get back to them with an answer.
About thirty days later, St. Peter returned and told the couple they could get married in heaven. The woman then asked, "If things don't work out, can we get a divorce?"
St. Peter looked at her and replied, "Lady, it took me thirty days to find a preacher up here. Do you really think I'm going to find a lawyer?"
