When a gecko encounters a scorpion, it provokes the sightless creature with its tail. Enraged by the provocation, the scorpion strikes at the gecko with the venomous stinger on its own tail.
The gecko's tail is smooth and agile. The scorpion consistently misses its target, instead stinging itself. Infuriated, the scorpion attacks the gecko even more fiercely.
After stinging itself multiple times, the scorpion's body begins to stiffen. The gecko then relaxes and consumes the scorpion.
