One day, a rabbit was enjoying carrots in a garden. As he prepared to leave, he spotted the farmer approaching and needed to hide quickly. He couldn't hide among the carrot tops, as only their leaves were above ground. Just as the farmer drew nearer, the rabbit had an idea: he dug a hole, covered it with leaves and twigs, and hid inside, waiting for the farmer to leave.
However, the farmer stayed to gather carrots for soup. The rabbit then devised another plan. He decided to tunnel his way to the lettuce patch and escape from there. He knew he would get muddy, but it was the only way home. So, he dug through the soil. By the time he reached home, he was exhausted and covered in mud. He went straight to bed, and after waking up, he took a bath and enjoyed a lovely meal with his family.
