The Unexpected Beauty of Traffic Lights | 交通灯的意外之美

点击查看中英对照

On the embankment, there is a crossroads that marks my daily route home.

One evening, I was driving home with my three-year-old daughter. As we approached the embankment, I noticed from a distance that several traffic lights at the intersection had malfunctioned.

Each traffic light had all its red, yellow, and green signals illuminated simultaneously. Set against the backdrop of a brilliant sunset, the scene was truly beautiful. I quickly pointed it out to my daughter to share this rare sight: "Sweetie, look! All the lights on the traffic signals are on. Isn't it pretty?"

My daughter looked and exclaimed, "Wow! It's so nice! Who fixed them?"
